Pipe elbows are the most common pipe fittings used to change the direction of flow. HEBEI PENGRUN manufactures elbows in all standard configurations and custom angles.
Long Radius (LR) 90°
Center-to-face = 1.5 × NPS. Most common in process piping. Smooth flow, low pressure drop.
Long Radius (LR) 45°
Center-to-face = 0.75 × NPS. Used for gradual direction change in long pipelines.
Short Radius (SR) 90°
Center-to-face = 1.0 × NPS. Used in space-constrained installations. Higher pressure drop than LR.
3D / 5D / 6D / 10D Bends
Long-radius bends with 3x to 10x pipe diameter radius. Used in hot/cold pipelines for thermal expansion.
Reducing Elbow
Different size on each end. Saves a separate reducer + elbow fitting pair.
180° Return Bend
U-shaped return. Center-to-face = 1.5 × NPS + pipe OD (LR) or 1.0 × NPS + pipe OD (SR).
